Get sessions off a MyChron — no laptop
The session's on the logger, the kart's in the paddock, and the next run is in twenty minutes. Here's how the data gets onto your phone before you grid up.
1. Turn on the MyChron's WiFi
On the logger, make sure WiFi is enabled. The MyChron broadcasts its own network, named after the device — it only needs to be on, there's nothing to configure.
2. Join that network on your phone
Open your phone's WiFi settings and join the MyChron's network. Your phone may warn that the network has no internet — that's expected; keep the connection anyway.
3. Pull the session in LapperSnapper
Open LapperSnapper and choose the MyChron WiFi source on the import screen. The sessions on the logger are listed; tap one to copy it to your phone. No SD-card shuffle, no Race Studio, no desktop software.
4. Read the answer
Analysis runs on the phone the moment the session lands: racing line, sectors, ultimate lap, corner-by-corner losses, and every logger channel charted. It works in airplane-mode conditions — nothing about this needs signal.
If nothing shows up
Check the phone is still on the MyChron's network — phones like to hop back to known WiFi that has internet. Stand near the kart; paddock structures eat WiFi. And if you already have the session as a file, LapperSnapper reads .xrk, .xrz, and .drk directly — load it like any other file.
